'EVERY' time I have been here is 5 stars. 30 ir 40 times over 4 yrs. The staff is always pleasant or better, new staff or veteran ( lol) . Clean, great atmosphere. If I lived closer I'd be to this awesome eatery a lot more. Thanks Midway people for doing a great job of taking care of .... US.
Amazing find in the keys! Although it seems the secret is out! Great food, lots of amazing options ( especially for those more particular in dairy free options like me! ) friendly & efficient service. Ate here twice during our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough! If you can’t find something here you like, you just don’t like food.
Highly recommend this spot! Food is well priced compared to other breakfast options and so good! The power oatmeal was a huge portion and tasted great. So did their breakfast sandwiches. Also nice to have seating inside and outside. Will definitely come back here again!
While vacationing in Fiesta Key, someone recommended Midway Cafe. The breakfast was absolutely superb! Had breakfast here every day……from the moment we arrived, the staff was very friendly and attentive…..the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I loved the biscuits and gravy and the breakfast sandwich…..the coffee was also excellent, tho place is decorated so colorful, awesome atmosphere!!! Overall, it was a truly memorable breakfast experience that I would highly recommend Midway Cafe!!!
The café was a delightful find. From the velvety cappuccinos to the fresh croissants. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The beautifully decorated interior and exterior added to the overall ambiance. But it was the green smoothie that truly stole the show for me.
Highly recommend! Great space and very welcoming staff. Breakfast was great. I had the sausage muffin and turkey bacon. My husband really enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. Seating inside and out. Dog friendly space. Parking front and side on lot.
3/14/35—My husband's friends, who had been staying at our rental house, were leaving today. While my husband and some other friends rented a sailboat and left around 7am , I decided to join our two friends for breakfast before they headed out. I had my heart set on a Cuban restaurant, but we couldn’t find it. Instead, we stopped at this place simply because it was nearby and convenient for them. I wasn’t thrilled about the change of plans—when I’m in Florida, I like to have a proper Cuban breakfast. As soon as we walked in, the first thing I noticed was the line. Here, you order first, then they bring the food to your table. On the way to the register, there were little souvenirs for sale—cute trinkets and framed signs with funny and wise advice such as “we don’t have WiFi here “ took spices of it . The menu was charming, well-organized, and despite having a lot of options, it wasn’t overwhelming. As I got closer to the register (which didn’t take long), I spotted a bunch of fresh bananas. For a brief moment, I felt guilty—I should have been thinking about ordering a smoothie, but I didn’t. The bananas remained there, looking abandoned and slightly betrayed. I ordered scrambled eggs with a pancake and ham, along with a café con leche, which, I have to admit, was quite good. My friends' meals also looked great. The total for the three of us was around 72. The restaurant has a small indoor seating area but plenty of outdoor seating. Just as we were finishing our meal, a septic and plumbing truck pulled up, and they started some kind of cleaning. Thankfully, it was at the end of our breakfast—great timing. There were also way too many people with their dogs. Now, I love dogs, and they were all adorable, but that was the problem—they were too cute. I kept getting distracted from my meal. In the end, although this stop wasn’t part of my plan and I wasn’t too happy about it at first, I was pleasantly surprised.
So many tasty and healthy options here. The staff is so nice as well, felt like a warm bath to start my day here. When possible I’ll definitely come back, I recommend everyone who visits the Keys to have their breakfast or lunch here.
